Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of Sociedade Lisbonense de Metalização (SLM), a treatment of metallic and non-metallic surfaces company, on the sale of 100% of the company to Meivcore, provider of integrated services in several areas of industrial maintenance.

Based in Portugal, SLM engages in the treatment of metallic and non-metallic surfaces. With over 77 years of accumulated experience, the company is a main player in the market for metal, concrete, stone, masonry, and wood surface treatment. Its activities include works and projects for surface protection, repair and rehabilitation of infrastructures, urban and industrial equipment, and historical buildings.

Meivcore is a fast-growing group that provides integrated services in several areas of industrial maintenance, including preventive and corrective preservation, offering the most advanced solutions in the industry. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Viseu, Portugal, the group operates in several industrial hubs in Portugal, Spain, France, and Belgium.
