As a Partner at Clearwater International Denmark I advise Danish and international clients on a variety of M&A transactions - primarily focused on sell-side mandates for both industrial and private equity clients, as well as family owned businesses.
I joined Clearwater in 2007, have been a partner in Clearwater since 2016 and co-head our Danish industrials & chemicals sector team and head our automotive sector team in Denmark. With more than 10 years of mid-market M&A transaction experience I have had the privilege to be involved in more than 30 completed transactions with both private equity and international strategic buyers.
I have worked in various industries over time but have over recent years focused more on the industrial sector, including both manufacturing and business services such as value-added distribution, logistics and automation, where I work closely together with our international colleagues within our dedicated sector teams.
For me, it is a privilege to advise and work with owners and management in succeeding with their owner strategy and to exceed our client’s success criteria for the transaction. Making our client feel at ease while advising and guiding them through the process is a key motivator for me. Together with my team, I emphasise a constructive, personal and pragmatical dialogue with all stakeholders in the process to secure the best terms for our client and a solid basis for future collaboration.
I have a MSc in Economics and Business Management from Aarhus University (Cand. Oeacon) including selected classes from Harvard University, and have had the pleasure of giving guest lectures in M&A and Valuation for masters students at selected Law and Business Schools.
