Clearwater International celebrates two years in Leeds with new office move
Following two years of remarkable growth in both transaction completions and team expansion, Clearwater International's Leeds office has moved premises to a new modern office in the heart of the city centre in One East Parade.
25 transactions with a combined deal value of £1.6bn
An impressive 12 months of deal completions and a healthy pipeline initiated a period of team growth for the Leeds office which now stands at 11 people made up of M&A, debt advisory and deal origination. The team have contributed to more than 25 transactions with a combined deal value of £1.6bn since its launch.

The team’s hard work was recognised through multiple award wins in 2021, receiving two trophies at the Yorkshire Insider Dealmakers Awards 2021. Partner Richard Goldsack was awarded the Dealmaker of the Year title and the team brought home Deal of the Year for advising Infinity Works on its sale to global professional service company Accenture. The Leeds team were also shortlisted in three other categories including Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year, National Deal of the Year and Deal of the Year (for transactions valued between £5-25m).
Over the last two years, the combined team have completed transactions across a range of sectors, including industrials and chemicals, TMT, healthcare and business services. Some notable highlights include:
- Advising Stelrad Group Plc on its £274m IPO on the London Stock Exchange
- Advising Infinity Works on its sale to Accenture, which included working with Clearwater International’s US partner KeyBanc Capital Markets
- Advising Hippo Digital on its investment from Growth Capital Partners
- Advising Palatine on the sale of Estio to BPP
- Advising Aspire Technology Solutions on its investment from LDC
- Advising LDC on the merger of Lomond Capital and Linley & Simpson
