Clearwater International has advised Rune Kjeldsen & Co Drift AS (RKC), on the sale of a 60% stake to N.V. Deli Maatschappij (Deli Maatschappij), a prominent trading and distribution company in the timber, construction products, and tobacco industries. As part of the transaction, RKC becomes part of the Outdoor Life Group of Deli Maatschappij.
RKC is the leading supplier of garden timber and log cabins to DIY retailers and garden centres in Norway.
The Outdoor Life Group of Deli Maatschappij is a leading European supplier and producer of garden timber and log cabins to DIY retailers and garden centres. The group operates under the brand names Hillhout, Outdoor Life Products, Holgard, Nepro, and Topwood.
With the acquisition of RKC, Deli’s Outdoor Life Group secures a leading position in Norway and establishes a steppingstone for further growth across Scandinavia.
