Clearwater International Germany has advised German manufacturer of sports, leisure furniture and toys products Kettler GmbH (Kettler) on its sale to private investment firm Lafayette Mittelstand Capital (Lafayette). The completion of this transaction is subject to committee approvals.
Kettler, founded in 1949 and headquartered in Ense-Parsit, Germany, is a renowned manufacturer of high-quality sports, leisure furniture and toys products with an outstanding brand recognition.
Based in Luxembourg and Frankfurt, Lafayette is a private investment firm focusing on control acquisitions of fundamentally attractive companies at turning points in their development incl. spin-offs, sub-optimal capital structures, turnaround, insolvency or other special situations.
