Clearwater International advises Primonial REIM on the sale of the real estate of La Clinique du Parc to AEW
Clearwater International has advised Primonial REIM, a prominent European real estate asset manager with €42bn in assets under management, representing 5,000,000 sqm, on the sale of the real estate of La Clinique du Parc to AEW.
Ideally located on Boulevard Stalingrad in the 6th district of Lyon, La Clinique du Parc is a private health facility built in 2007, covering an area of over 15,000 square meters spread across two buildings, welcoming nearly 22,000 patients annually. The clinic is operated by the ELSAN Group, the second-largest private healthcare operator in France, with 140 establishments and around 400 practitioners and staff. Featuring five specialised centres of excellence in outpatient surgery, 16 operating rooms, and 185 beds, Clinique du Parc boasts strong regional and national recognition.
AEW is one of the world leaders in investment advisory and real estate asset management, with €83bn in assets under management. The acquisition of Clinique du Parc aligns with AEW's strategy to increase its exposure to high-quality assets in the healthcare sector, providing the opportunity to invest in a field experiencing sustained growth.
