Clearwater International lands prestigious Team of the Year award at East Midlands Insider Dealmakers
It was a successful evening for Clearwater International’s regional and TMT teams, who secured two wins at the East Midlands Insider Dealmakers awards this year.

The firm received the prestigious Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year trophy, and Deal of the Year, for advising the shareholders of Littlefish, a leading mid-market IT managed services provider, on a significant investment from Bowmark Capital.
The firm, whose beginnings are deeply rooted in the East Midlands region with one of its founding offices based in Nottingham, celebrated its 20th anniversary earlier this year. The firm has since experienced exponential growth resulting in 17 international offices; however, this award showcases how committed the teams still are to securing positive deal outcomes for clients based locally in the region.
Highlighted by the judging panel, it was said that “It's been a very good year for the East Midlands' original M&A boutique, making sure that deals such as Palatine's big £148m exit of CTS and the secondary buyout of Littlefish were done.”.
Whilst commenting on the winner of the Deal of the Year category, Littlefish, the judging panel said, "This deal showed how private equity should work; in just three years with LDC's investment Littlefish doubled its turnover and its headcount, ending with a timely exit from the tech business advised by the East Midlands community.”.
Clearwater was also shortlisted across other categories, including Deal of the Year for advising Palatine on the sale of CTS Group to Oakley Capital and advising Cooper Parry on its investment from Waterland Private Equity.
