Clearwater International advises the shareholders of Medinova on its sale to NPM Healthcare

Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of Medinova, a chain of clinics focused on specialised insured care, on the sale of their shares to NPM Healthcare, the healthcare branch of the private equity investor, NPM Capital.

Medinova’s chain of clinics includes orthopaedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and general surgery. With a turnover of around €40m, the company is one of the leading chains of specialist medical clinics in the Netherlands, leading in quality, waiting times, customer satisfaction, and innovation. Medinova operates clinics in Rozendaal (near Arnhem), Rotterdam, Breda, and Haarlem, employing approximately 260 professionals.

NPM Healthcare invests in primary and secondary medical care and has a long-term investment horizon. It has shareholdings in leading chains of primary health centres, dental care clinics, eye clinics, and dermatology clinics. NPM Healthcare now has the ambition to expand Medinova in the Dutch market, in close cooperation with insurers.
