Clearwater International advises Achmea on the divestment of its DFA Service to InVesting

Clearwater International has advised Achmea, one of the largest suppliers of financial services in the Netherlands, on the divestment of its DFA Service, a provider of invoicing services, to InVesting, a group of companies offering financial services.

DFA Service is a provider of invoicing services to the medical industry, primarily dentists. With 35 dedicated professionals, DFA Service runs a highly efficient service, settling the majority of invoices directly with the insurance companies.

Achmea is the leading insurance company in the Netherlands, focusing on healthcare, and a holding company of Centraal Beheer Achmea, Zilveren Kruis Achmea, Interpolis, Avéro Achmea, FBTO, and Agis. The company offers a broad range of insurance, banking, and mortgage products and services, that promote a healthy lifestyle. Achmea is part of Eureko, a European financial institution, employing 24,000 people in 11 countries.

InVesting is a group of companies, including Vesting Finance, Fiditon, and InVesting, all active in credit management, debt collection, and the purchase of bad debt portfolios. With a workforce of over 400 employees, the group’s partners are HAL Investments, SNS Bank, and Flanderijn Gerechtsdeurwaarders.

This acquisition enables InVesting to strengthen its position in the credit management sector.
