Profile

I lead the business services and private equity coverage teams at Clearwater International. I joined in 2008, having spent 10 years at KPMG where I specialised in corporate finance and established a business services team. I joined Clearwater International because of the people, the culture and the opportunity to grow Clearwater’s business services sector team and UK private equity network.

I’ve completed over 70 deals worth c. €2.5bn, the majority of which have involved companies in the business services sector. I have significant experience in recruitment, education & training and consultancy transactions, and have also worked on a number of successful facilities management and outsourcing deals.

Some of my deal highlights include: the sale of Learning Curve to Agilitas; the investment in Access Creative College from Apiary Capital; the investment from in Spencer Ogden from MML; the joining forces of Partnerships in Children's Services (PiCS) and Core Assets Group; the sale of CET to Palatine Private Equity; the sale of PSL to Sodexo Global Support Services; and the cross-border sale of Credo to US-based Teneo Holdings. I enjoy building good and trusted long term relationships with my clients and supporting them on their journey to create value and ultimately exit their businesses.

I have worked in the corporate finance industry for over 20 years, and hold a degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.
