Clearwater International has advised the founders and owners of Optimity, a fast-growing software provider specialising in solving complex supply chain planning and optimisation challenges, on its sale to Blackstone-backed RELEX Solutions, a global leader in unified supply chain and retail planning.

Optimity, headquartered in Sweden with global offices, offers comprehensive supply chain planning and optimisation software solutions tailored for manufacturers and distributors. Its platform empowers customers to make optimal supply chain decisions, ranging from strategic planning to detailed production scheduling.

RELEX Solutions, based in Finland and supported by Blackstone, Summit Partners, and TCV, provides integrated supply chain and retail planning solutions. The company supports retailers and manufacturers in achieving profitable growth across all sales and distribution channels, optimising the supply chain for maximum customer satisfaction and minimal operational costs.

The acquisition of Optimity enhances RELEX’s production planning and supply chain optimisation capabilities, offering consumer goods companies synchronised demand, supply, production, and distribution planning within a single platform.
