Clearwater International advises the shareholders of Netwo on its sale to Groupe Altitude

Clearwater International has advised Netwo, an emerging telecom-tech player, on its sale to Altitude Group, the third largest fibre optic infrastructure operator in France.

Netwo provides a turnkey solution designed to facilitate access to the various telecom infrastructure offers available in France, and to simplify and automate the manual and often time-consuming operations of telecom operators. Regardless of their size, Netwo enables customer operators to order all types of telecoms services including fixed links, 4G/5G, fixed and mobile telephony, create their own sales catalogues, market and supervise services under their brand, plus invoice and manage their customers.

This merger between Altitude Group and Netwo aims to foster a more open and balanced B2B telecoms market, which is currently dominated by four national operators controlling 90% of the French B2B connectivity market.

With this acquisition, Altitude Group is consolidating its position in the market and is committed to transforming the sector. By bolstering its investments in information systems and telecoms, the group aims to offer innovative solutions that cater to the agility and competitive needs of telecom operators and integrators.

As part of the Altitude Group, Netwo will continue to focus on indirect sales to telecom operators and integrators. Under the leadership of Bruno Veluet and Iga Byczkowska, Netwo will also contribute to innovation initiatives within the group.
