Clearwater International advises ementexx on its sale to LucaNet

Clearwater International has advised ementexx GmbH (ementexx), a provider of SaaS solutions in digital banking and cash management, on its sale to LucaNet Group (LucaNet), a leading provider of corporate performance management software to simplify financial processes and a portfolio company of Hg Capital.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, ementexx is a specialist in digital banking and cash management software. The company offers its SaaS solution, ennoxx.banking, a cloud-based platform for corporate banking and payments, connectivity and transformation, cash management and liquidity as well as e-invoicing and reconciliation, to its corporate customers. The software tool is fully integrated and ensures easy connection to various ERP systems and banks. Moreover, ennoxx.banking includes solutions for instant payments and push notifications, as well as EBICS server and connectivity.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany, LucaNet is a leading provider of corporate performance management software, to simplify financial processes in the CFO office. More than 5,000 companies worldwide already rely on the company’s user-friendly solutions for financial statements and consolidation, planning and budgeting, reporting, ESG, and taxes.

This acquisition is an important step in further expanding LucaNet's position as a comprehensive, end-to-end provider of corporate performance management software for the CFO office. It underlines the company's commitment to expanding its existing product and service offering, as well as providing unparalleled value to its customers. In addition, the acquisition directly addresses the urgent need for user-friendly treasury and payment solutions, tailored to the specific needs of mid-sized companies. Whilst ementexx's geographical focus in the past was on customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, LucaNet will now begin to expand ementexx’s offering to international markets.

With the acquisition of ementexx, the company is essentially expanding its solution portfolio for efficient and secure work in the financial area. Similar to other LucaNet products, the new offering of cloud-based treasury and cash management solutions will aim to automate more of the processes in the finance department, acting as a one-stop shop and enabling decision-makers to better manage their businesses.
