Clearwater International has advised Ayesa and Grupo Sevilla Control on the sale of Ayesa Air Control Ingeniería Aeronáutica, S.L. (Ayesa Air Control), a provider of manufacturing engineering solutions to the aerospace and defence industry, to Alten Europe S.A.R.L. (Alten), a global engineering and technology consultancy company.
Founded in 2012 and based in Seville, Spain, Ayesa Air Control and its German subsidiary, Ayesa Air Control GmbH, provides manufacturing engineering services and digital factory, plus design and certification solutions, to the aerospace and defence sector in Spain, Germany, and other countries. Ayesa Air Control is a joint venture between Ayesa, a provider of technology and engineering consultancy services worldwide, and Grupo Sevilla Control, a supplier of manufacturing parts and assembly solutions for aerospace machining and assembly processes.
Based in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, Alten, a listed company on the Paris stock exchange, is a global leader in the supply of engineering and technology consultancy services. Alten provides these solutions in France, Spain, Germany, Italy, North America, the UK, and other countries.
The acquisition of Ayesa Air Control enhances Alten´s position in the provision of manufacturing engineering services for the aerospace and defence sector in southern Europe, which allows Ayesa Air Control and Alten to grow together and offer a wider range of solutions to new and existing customers.
