Clearwater International advises Holiday Group Invest A/S on its sale to Capidea
Clearwater International has advised Holiday Group Invest A/S (Holiday Group), which operates a market-leading online multi-brand platform for holiday home rental bookings, on its sale to Capidea.
Holiday Group consists of the subsidiaries Feline Holidays A/S, Vacasol GmbH and Tourist-Online A/S providing online holiday home rentals, mainly targeting Danish and German consumers. The company collaborates with several holiday home agencies, through partnerships and has a database of more than 140,000 holiday homes across Europe. The acquisition enables new opportunities for further development of current activities and a chance to pursue new strategic options for the company.
Capidea is a Danish private equity fund, making long-term investments in competitive small and medium-sized Danish companies. With the investment, Capidea will support Holiday Group’s growth and development. The current owners will continue in the company as minority shareholders and form part of the future management.
