Clearwater International advises AXA IM Alts, a world leader in alternative asset management, with €185bn under management, on the acquisition of Bry-sur-Marne Studios, one of the largest film and series studios, spanning 12 hectares in Bry-sur-Marne and Villiers-sur-Marne, and one of the most renowned in French cinema.

The site comprises eight sets and numerous annex spaces including offices, dressing rooms, and workshops, spread over 5600m² and 20,000m² respectively. It is ideally positioned 9km east of Paris, in close proximity to the international airports of Orly and Roissy Charles de Gaulle.

This transaction enables AXA IM Alts to enter the thriving film studio market, driven by the growing demand for access to a wide range of films and original content, through various broadcasters and streaming platforms, resulting in an increase in the worldwide need for filming space.
