Clearwater builds on momentum with Partner promotion within its Technology team
Global corporate finance advisory firm welcomes Finn O’Driscoll to the partnership as part of its Technology sector team, following a sustained period of market share growth for the business.
European Technology team completes 34 deals with a combined deal value of over €1.6bn in FY 23/24
During FY 2023/24, Clearwater’s European Technology team continued its impressive run of deal activity completing 34 deals with a combined transaction value of over €1.6bn, across key sub-sectors including IT Managed Services, Digital Transformation, Software, Cyber and B2B Data and Information Services.
Finn’s promotion to Partner represents the third such promotion within the UK Technology team in recent years, following Wesley Fell-Smith in 2021 and Ed Gale in 2023. This underlines Clearwater’s continued commitment to nurturing its talent and investing in key growth areas.
Based in London, Finn joined Clearwater in 2017 as a Senior Associate and has over 10 years of M&A experience. In this time, he has built up an impressive roster of transactions across a range of technology sub-sectors.
With an increasing focus on Software, Finn has been instrumental in building Clearwater’s expertise in this area. Over the last twelve months alone, Clearwater’s European Technology team has advised on over 20 market leading international software transactions, including the investment in 15below by LDC, the investment in Softco by Keensight Capital and the investment in Mayden by G Square.
This latest investment within the team reflects the significant momentum behind Clearwater’s Technology sector and wider business, with pipeline and activity levels at record heights.
