Biographie
I am the Vice Chairman for Clearwater International’s Italian branch, having joined since February 2024.
After I studied Political Science at Università Statale, in Milan, I started my career by joining Credit Suisse Financial Products, in London, where I became one of the early pioneers of the swaps and derivatives market. Later on, after working for more than five years at Credit Suisse, I worked for Deutsche Bank, becoming the Head of Southern Europe.
Following this, I was recruited by Alessandro Profumo at UniCredit to establish and build the investment banking division within the group, and after more than two decades, I held the role of Executive Vice President, where I had increased responsibilities such as the Head of Trading and Sales, Head of Investment Banking for Italy, overseeing the M&A and Capital Market teams, as well as the Global Head of Family Office.
Throughout my career at UniCredit, I headed over 20 deals with a combined deal value of over €30bn. The headcount, under my responsibility, organically grew from 20 to 100 bankers, working closely with the trading and research divisions.
Before joining Clearwater International, in my latest role, I served as the CEO for the debt restructuring of two prominent Italian construction companies, one relevant to a debt of over €1.5bn.
