Clearwater International advises Nimbus on the sale of Eekels pompen to ABN AMRO participaties

Clearwater International has advised the private equity firm Nimbus, on the sale of Eekels Pompen, a leading pump hire company, to ABN AMRO Participaties, a prominent investment firm in Benelux.

Eekels Pompen, founded in 1914, is the leading pump rental company in the Benelux region, with a dominant market position. The company maintains the largest pump rental fleet in both the Netherlands and Belgium, offering a broad line of submersible and centrifugal pumps to contractors, industry, and the public sector.

ABN AMRO Participaties is the investment subsidiary of ABN AMRO Capital, focuses on investing in medium-sized companies in the Netherlands. It prioritises profitable, cash-generative companies with an excellent management team, strong market position, growth potential, and an enterprise value of €10m to €50m.

ABN AMRO Participaties will enable Eekels Pompen to further expand its product and service offering in the Benelux region and other countries.
