Clearwater International advises Lutech on its acquisition of Eustema and its subsidiary SoftJam
Clearwater International has advised Lutech Group (Lutech), a portfolio company of Apax Funds and a leading Italian provider of IT, software, and technology services, on its acquisition of Eustema S.p.A. (Eustema) and its subsidiary, SoftJam S.p.A. (SoftJam), both active in the IT sector.
Founded in 1989, Eustema specialises in IT consultancy and development, Cloud, Big Data, and AI as well as supporting clients in the execution of complex ICT projects by offering customised IT solutions. Alongside its subsidiary, SoftJam, which offers key expertise in Microsoft Cloud Integration, Modern Workplace, Data and Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Resilience, and with a combined team of 700 highly qualified professionals, it supports the growth of businesses across various industrial sectors, with a particular focus on Public Administration.
Founded in 2001 and supported by Apax Funds since 2021, Lutech positions itself as a leader in the Italian market and as a significant player in the European ICT services and solutions landscape, accompanying the evolution of client companies through the design, implementation, and management of complete and integrated digital solutions.
Through this transaction, Lutech will enhance its skills and capabilities as well as expand the range of its services across various sectors, with a focus on operational continuity and improved customer offerings through efficient integration of the newly acquired resources.
The deal is expected to be completed by December 2023.
