Clearwater International advises ARQUES Industries on sale of OXIRIS Chemicals to Raschig
Clearwater International acted as sole financial adviser to ARQUES Industries AG on the sale of OXIRIS Chemicals S.A., Spain to Raschig GmbH.
OXIRIS is one of the largest producers of phenolic antioxidants worldwide, operating a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Sant Celoni (near Barcelona), Spain. Antioxidants are used to prevent degradation, oxidation, gumming, undesirable colour and odour changes in fuels, lubricants, plastics, rubber and other industrial applications. OXIRIS’ products are sold and distributed in more than 60 countries, serving more than 20 industry sectors. With 55 employees, OXIRIS has generated sales of €30m in 2007.
Raschig GmbH provides specialty chemicals, thermosetting resins, road repair materials, and process technology equipment.
