Clearwater International advises 3i Deutschland on acquisition of Azelis from Cognetas
Clearwater International acted as sole financial adviser to 3i Deutschland on its acquisition, together with the management team, of Azelis S.A., Luxembourg, from Cognetas GmbH & Co. KG. The transaction is valued at €315m.
With approximately 900 employees, Azelis generated consolidated sales in excess of €700m in 2005. Azelis is the largest European specialty chemicals distributor with a full pan-European presence.
