Clearwater International advises Hertalan on its sale to Carlisle Companies
Clearwater International has advised Hertalan Holding B.V. (Hertalan), a leading manufacturer of EPDM-based roofing membranes, on its sale to Carlisle Companies (Carlisle), a global diversified company that serve niche markets, including commercial roofing.
Hertalan has facilities in Kampen, the Netherlands and Baia Mare, Romania, plus sales in the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, and other European countries. The company employs 130 people and generates an annual turnover of €25m.
Carlisle trades on the New York Stock Exchange and generates annual sales of approximately €2.5bn, employing 11,000 people worldwide.
The sale of Hertalan includes products, manufacturing processes, and distribution channels, to strengthen Carlisle’s presence in Europe and international expansion.
