Embracing the future of corporate finance, with members of Aarhus University Economics department female network
Clearwater International Denmark recently hosted 24 members of KØN, the female network of students from the Economics Department of Aarhus University, at our Aarhus office to share insights on corporate finance and M&A.
The theme of the event was to demystify M&A and shed light on what working at a firm like Clearwater involves. Comprising two interactive sessions, one focused on discussions about prejudices surrounding corporate finance, and the other involving a case study workshop providing insight into the sales process. The meeting wrapped up with a Q&A session led by students, followed by dinner, networking, and socialising.
All participants showed great enthusiasm, with Clearwater receiving positive feedback, confirming that the members obtained what they had hoped for from the event.
Rikke Biltoft Hansen and Rosa Rygaard Jensen, board members of KØN , expressed their enjoyment of the event:
"We had a great day at Clearwater and we have nothing but positive words from our members. We were immersed in Clearwater's work with great transparency, and removed some prejudices about an industry that can seem a little confusing from the outside. It's always nice to have some young people that we can relate to, but also really cool to also have senior employees who have been with Clearwater for many years. All in all, we are really happy with the collaboration and honesty that opened up the M&A world to a lot of female students."
