Clearwater International advises Solimas Group on the sale of Agile Software and InfraControl to Comparex

Clearwater International has advised Solimas Group, a group of companies specialising in the fields of software and IT, on the sale of its subsidiaries, Agile Software, an expert in the field of software licences for large and medium-sized organisations, and InfraControl, a specialist Software Asset Management and IT Asset Lifecycle Management consultancy organisation, to COMPAREX, an international vendor-independent IT service provider.

Solimas is a group of companies specialising in the field of software licences, software asset management, sustainable IT, social intranets, and secondment of IT staff. The companies operate independently and provide complementary expertise, products, and services that can also be used integrally.

Agile Software mainly supply Microsoft, Oracle, Citrix, and VMware licences in combination with related advisory and management services. In addition, it supplies licences to nearly all other software vendors.

InfraControl provides advice and solutions to clients such as KLM, NS, Aegon, and the Dutch Tax Authorities. The company is an authorised SAM partner of Microsoft, Oracle, and Symantec, plus several others.

COMPAREX has over 30 years’ experience in designing and implementing server and client infrastructures for small and medium businesses, government agencies, industrial enterprises, and multinationals from different industries. With its headquarters in Germany, it is active in 29 countries, with approximately 1,800 employees. COMPAREX Netherlands is located in Amsterdam and currently employs around 100 people.
