Clearwater has advised Cogepart Group (Cogepart) on the acquisition of Fréjus Courses Services, a Var-based company specialising in the delivery of spare parts to the automotive and maritime sectors, temperature-controlled delivery and chartering.

Founded in 1986, Cogepart is a French leading player in the booming last-mile delivery market. Cogepart has developed unique expertise in the very demanding automotive spare parts delivery segment and is a key partner for food supermarkets, household equipment and appliances retailers, as well as e-commerce major companies. The company, operating in both urban and rural areas, employs more than 2,000 people and generates a total revenue of €120m.

Fréjus Courses Services will strengthen Cogepart's network of 68 agencies and consolidate its leadership in the South-East of France. This acquisition will also allow the development of the company's activities in the field of rigging and road chartering. Fréjus Courses Services' customers will thus be able to benefit from a wider range of services offered by Cogepart throughout France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the southern part of Germany.

This acquisition is part of Cogepart Group's strategy of strengthening its territorial coverage and complements the recent acquisitions of Leman Courses, France Colis Express and Etcheverry Hariscain.
