Profile

I am a UK Managing Partner and a member of the Board at Clearwater International, having led the creation of the UK business in 2003. We set up Clearwater because we saw the need for quality independent advice, but delivered from a business with scale and a focus on excellent client outcomes.

My career has spanned restructuring, banking, and corporate finance – I qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Binder Hamlyn, worked at NatWest and was a partner at BDO prior to founding Clearwater International UK. I have been advising clients for over 20 years now and so have stopped my tally of deal numbers, although I will have worked on more than 100 MBOs alone.

Some key deals include advising the management of Partner in Pet Food on each of its three MBOs; advising Westleigh Partnerships on its €155m sale to Countryside Properties plc; advising on the sale of Vernacare to Palatine Private Equity; and advising Prism Medical on the sale of its UK subsidiary.
