Clearwater International wins UK Corporate Finance House of the Year at The Private Equity Awards 2021
Clearwater International is delighted to have won UK Corporate Finance House of the Year at The Private Equity Awards 2021 in association with Real Deals. The awards recognise outstanding contribution to Europe’s private equity transactions and the most successful firms and advisers. Clearwater International was also shortlisted in the European Corporate Finance House of the Year category.
17.8% increase in activity from the previous year
Despite the challenging circumstances surrounding the pandemic, 2020 was an exceptional year for the business. During the qualifying period, the UK team completed 33 transactions involving PE, with a 17.8% increase in activity from the previous year. These transactions spanned across M&A and debt advisory services, including standout sectors such as business services, TMT and industrials and chemicals.
The successful result comes off the back of a number of strong deal completions including advising LDC on the merger with Lomond Capital and Linley & Simpson; advising MML and management on the sale of Learning Curve Group; and advising Palatine on the sale of Verncare.
