Pierre-Henri Avalle

I joined Clearwater in 2016. Later on, after two and a half years in the mid-cap team, I spent 2 years in Singapore where I worked in a local M&A team covering the Asia-Pacific region. At the end of this enriching experience, I returned to the Clearwater team in Paris, happy to be back in a human-sized team of dynamic professionals, with a reputation for meeting clients’ goals and expectations. During these years, I was able to complete numerous transactions with both strategics and investment funds in Europe and Asia – in the healthcare and real estate sectors on the one hand, and in the leisure and new technology sectors on the other. I am a graduate of EDHEC Business School where I obtained a double degree Master in Management as well as Master of Science in Corporate Finance & Banking. Thanks to its international exposure and its agility Clearwater International allows me to build an international career in finance.

I joined Clearwater in October 2023 as an Analyst. I hold a degree in Medicine from King’s College London and, as part of my training, worked as a doctor. I have also completed the CFA Level 1 in May 2023. I enjoy working alongside a high-quality team and look forward to the chance to work with entrepreneurial management teams in the mid-market space.

I joined Clearwater in 2022 as part of the graduate scheme, just after completing my degree in Economics International Finance & Banking. I am now in an Associate role, working across a range of transactions supporting both private equity and owner-managed businesses through the M&A process. Outside of work, I am a keen rugby player and, while at university, I played professional rugby for four years for Nottingham Rugby. I am currently playing with Richmond RFC in National 1.

Gonzalo Palomar

I joined Clearwater International in December 2022 with the desire to enter and train in the M&A sector whilst working for a company with multi-sector expertise and exposure, and an excellent track record both nationally and internationally. After months of learning and training as an intern at Clearwater, I re-joined as an Analyst in April 2023. Before joining, I worked within a private equity fund at Mediterrania Capital Partners for six months. Following this, I worked for Uber in the operations department for a year, where I managed a portfolio of over 600 restaurants. I graduated in Business Administration at ESADE, Barcelona, finishing my studies with a six-month exchange at the University of Texas at Austin.

Since 2017, I have been part of the Clearwater team, I have built my career on advising clients from various industries in mid-cap to transformational M&A projects. From my previous experience in the structured and leveraged finance teams with two international banks, I have gained a deep understanding of large-scale financing transactions with banks as well as in the capital markets. Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic road cyclist and a fan of my hometown football team 1. FC Nürnberg, but first and foremost, I enjoy spending time with my family.
