Michael Quinlivan

I joined Clearwater International in 2021 as a Senior Associate in the Dublin Office. Prior to joining Clearwater, I was a Manager in PwC Dublin’s Transaction Services Deals Advisory team where I worked on a broad range of transactions covering Europe and the US, with an aggregate value of over €2bn. I am a Chartered Accountant having trained within the Asset and Wealth Management Division in PwC and hold a Master Degree in Business Information Systems. I am also a qualified Primary School Teacher.

Michael Reeves

I am a founder of the Clearwater business and have been involved in M&A for over 35 years. I started in the industry straight from school, qualified as an accountant, and moved to Australia where I gained what felt like 20 years of experience in 5 years (in a good way!) in both M&A and restructuring work. We established Clearwater in 2003 and it's been a privilege to work with an amazing group of people to build the business to where we are today. I’m as excited about the business today as I was 20 years ago.

Michael Loudon

I am a Partner and the Head of Industrials & Chemicals at Clearwater. I began my career in larger cap, complex M&A but was drawn to the mid-market, joining Clearwater in 2016. I particularly enjoy working with and advising owner-managers, entrepreneurs, and management teams in telling their stories to prospective investors and strategic trade acquirers alike. I believe this brings greater responsibility and pressure but equally far more job satisfaction than anywhere else in the market. I am proud of what the Clearwater team have achieved to date and the momentum we have as a business.

Michael Märki

I spent my entire career within Banking and M&A. After having worked some years for the two Swiss wholesale banks in corporate banking, I joined in 2009 one of the Big 4 and led the Capital and Debt Advisory Services in Switzerland for 9 years. In 2017, I moved to one of the leading independent corporate finance boutiques in Switzerland. Since 2023, I am Partner with Clearwater Switzerland. To become a trusted advisor but also respected team player, I was for my entire career committed to professionalism, integrity and empathy. Today, I’m proud to serve primarily family-owned businesses, from smaller SMEs to SIX listed companies. Within Clearwater Switzerland, I also serve as Managing Partner. I hold a PhD degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Zurich.

Chris Finnegan

After completing a summer internship with Clearwater in 2022 as part of a Master’s degree in Finance at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, I joined as a full-time analyst in September 2022 post graduating. Prior to this, I graduated with a degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin and gained intern experience with Davy Group. I joined Clearwater for the opportunity to work alongside ambitious and experienced individuals as part of a leading global corporate finance house.
