Béatrice Blanquet

I joined the Marseille team in 2014 after having worked first in strategy consulting at Booz Allen & Hamilton, then in operational functions in various environments including the automotive industry at PSA Peugeot Citroën, cell phone distribution at Avenir Telecom, and finally the banking sector at Société Marseillaise de Crédit. I have participated in several sale and external growth processes across a variety of sectors. In the healthcare sector, I advised on the sale of Hôpital Privé La Casamance to the Almaviva Group, in the food & beverage sector I advised on the sale of Confit de Provence to French Gourmet Food, and in the industrials sector, I advised on the sale of PB Environnement to the Faun Environnement Group, and the acquisition of several transport companies by the Cogepart Group. The diverse range of transactions I have been able to work on over the last few years, the specificities inherent to each sector of activity, to each company and to each manager or shareholder, makes this job exciting. Understanding our clients' expectations, building, and implementing effective solutions adapted to each specific situation is particularly important to me and makes my daily work very stimulating. I am a graduate of ESCP Business School and have a Master's degree in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Paris Dauphine.

Richard O'Donnell

I have been a specialist in the M&A consumer and leisure sector for 20 years and I am a Partner at Clearwater. I cut my teeth at UBS Investment Bank, as part of the team advising on large and often £1bn or above transactions across Europe. I then moved to the mid-market and have spent the last 15 years working with some of the most exciting brands in the sector, including Fever-Tree, LEON Restaurants, Fox International, LeMieux, and Goals Soccer Centres. I’ve advised on sales, acquisitions, and take-private transactions in the sector.

Gabriel Muñoz

Since 2022 I have been part of Clearwater M&A team addressing challenging and dynamic projects. My motivation to join Clearwater was focused on its market leadership and broad multi-sector experience. Working in a stimulating and versatile environment has offered me fertile ground to develop financial and analytical skills, as well as to understand market dynamics and sector-specific strategies.

James Malcharek

I am a Director in the Industrials & Chemicals team, with a particular responsibility for the Industrial Technology and Building Materials sectors. I joined Clearwater in 2021 from Lazard, where I spent four years, primarily focused on the industrial sector. Before joining Lazard, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in corporate finance at Ernst & Young. My experience spans public and private companies, primarily advising on mergers, acquisitions, and disposals.

Henrik Jakobsson

I joined Clearwater in 2013, a few months after the firm's inception in Sweden. Prior to Clearwater, I had experience in the investment banking departments at SEB, Nordea and KPMG. In recent years, I have worked in numerous transactions within sectors such as e-commerce, consumer products, tech, IT and management consulting, as well as industrial services and products. I am also the head of the Business Services sector team in Sweden.

Miguel Ángel Lorenzo

I am a partner at Clearwater, with experience in M&A advisory since 2006. Most of my activity focuses on the Healthcare and Business Services sectors in Europe. My professional career before Clearwater considered roles in private equity, strategic consulting and business management, significantly increasing my vision of different sectors and business strategies. Axel Oltmann

As a member of the Clearwater Board, I represent the interests of the DACH region in our international group. I am responsible for the Consumer and Tech sectors in Germany and contribute my many years of experience in realising transactions to the management of these sectors. In close cooperation with our Debt Advisory activities, I also support the continuous expansion of our German-speaking private equity activities. I started my professional career at Arthur Andersen in Frankfurt and worked as an auditor for companies in various sectors. As a co-founder, I joined @VISORY partners in 2000, which merged with Clearwater at the beginning of 2016. In my private life, I enjoy travelling, riding my e-bike in the Rheingau region and spending time with my family.
