Clearwater International advises Volution Group on the acquisition of Ventilairsec Group

Clearwater International has advised Volution Group (Volution), a leading supplier of ventilation products, on the acquisition of Ventilairsec Group (VMI), a French leader in the Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) market.

Headquartered in Couëron and with a staff of 40 professionals, VMI sells its PIV products mainly used for residential and tertiary buildings to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) installers and professional distributors in France and abroad, with exports consisting of 20% of its revenues.

VMI also consists of Néosfair, an engineering company providing advisory services to consumers and corporations on problems of indoor air quality, with dedicated expertise on pollution by Radon.

Michèle Potard, CEO and co-owner of VMI since 2006, decided to give momentum to the development of the company by joining a recognised European player in the ventilation industry.

Volution specialises in air ventilation for buildings, with a focus on residential applications and commercial buildings. The group achieves a turnover of €345m and has a staff of 1,800 employees in 15 countries.

With this transaction, VMI is acquiring more substantial means and resources with the ambition of occupying a greater place in the air quality market in France and abroad, thanks to the recognised technology of VMI.
