Clearwater International advises Symity Ltd on its sale to Charterhouse Voice and Data

Clearwater International has advised Symity Ltd (Symity) a provider of Unified Communications (UC) solutions, on its sale to Charterhouse Voice and Data (Charterhouse), backed by August Private Equity.

Headquartered in Reading, Symity provides UC solutions to customers worldwide, through Microsoft Teams and any associated ecosystems. The business has worked with some of the largest FTSE 500 companies.

Established 25 years ago, Charterhouse delivers UC and security solutions to a global customer base of mid-market businesses ranging from 200 to 10,000 seats. This latest deal will support Charterhouse's ongoing buy-and-build strategy.

The sale will provide a boost to Charterhouse’s Microsoft presence, with Teams representing a key skill area, as well as increasing the business’ exposure to customers at the larger end of the SME market. The three founders of Symity will continue in their positions to drive growth and bring their expertise to the wider Charterhouse group.
