Clearwater International advises Freres Blanc group on the disposal of the Paris-based restaurant chain Chez Clement

Clearwater International has advised Frères Blanc group on the sale of the restaurant chain Chez Clément to SDW Services group, owned and managed by Stanislas Dewynter.

Since 2008 the management team, run by Jean-Michel Texier, has worked on the repositioning of Chez Clément, which now allows the traditional French restaurant chain to plan future development with its new owner SDW Services. This new owner was chosen due to SDW sharing similar values and being able to offer attractive development perspectives, while capitalising on the know-how and the social skills of the team.

Frères Blanc will now focus on its original core business, high-end French Brasseries, to consolidate its leading position on this growing market.

SDW Services, a well-known Paris-based group operating restaurants under concession contracts (mostly with public entities), manages a dozen restaurants. The majority of these restaurants are located on unique sites benefiting from strong reputations, such as Les Jardins de Bagatelle, Le Saut du Loup or Le Dauphine.

Crossing a new step in its development and supported by a pool of private investors, SDW Services wishes to develop the brand « chez Clément Restaurants d’hôtes » in France and abroad by relying on its original concept and the expertise of the teams in place.
