Clearwater International advises the owners of Webshipper on the sale to nShift

Clearwater International has advised leading e-commerce shipping platform provider Webshipper, VækstPartner Kapital, and the remaining shareholders on the sale to nShift, a global provider of cloud delivery management solutions backed by the leading technology investors Marlin Equity and Francisco Partners.

Established in 2014, Webshipper is a leading provider of a cloud-based SaaS platform within delivery management solutions primarily for the rapidly growing e-commerce space. The platform connects and integrates an extensive library of ERP, e-commerce, and WMS software to over 50 carriers. This significantly simplifies costumers’ order flows and reduce tedious manual tasks for businesses.

In 2019, the company received a double-digit million injection from the private equity fund Vækstpartner Kapital and has gone from 10 to 40 employees in the intervening two years. Over the years, Webshipper has achieved impressive growth rates partly through winning larger customer accounts, growing its engagement with the existing customer base and successfully attracting third-party logistics partners. As such, the Company’s platform is now used for more than 1.5 million packages each month.

nShift is a global software group within delivery management solutions that has emerged through the merger of Unifaun, Consignor and Returnado. By integrating Webshipper’s user-friendly interface, advanced back-end technology, and prominent support model Webshipper will further advance nShift’s capabilities as a global leader in cloud delivery management.
