Clearwater International advises Netrom Software on its sale to Icelake Capital and management

Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of the Dutch-Romanian software developer, NetRom Software, on its sale to Icelake Capital, and management. Founder and CEO, Han in ‘t Veld, and COO, Mircea Negrila, have increased their interest in the company, while the informal investors that backed NetRom since its establishment in 1999, have sold their shares.

Located in Breda, Netherlands, NetRom Software provides outsourced software development services to customers in Western Europe, with a delivery centre of more than 330 software developers in Craiova, Romania. The company generates annual revenue of approximately €20m, having developed into one of the top software developers for Dutch software vendors and corporate end-users. NetRom Software also provides high-added-value services, having obtained significant knowledge in specific sectors, such as telecoms, fintech, and healthcare.

The company will further grow its delivery centre in Craiova, according to Han in ‘t Veld. NetRom Software will also invest over €10m in the construction of a unique campus with state-of-the-art facilities for its Romanian employees, focusing on knowledge development and the recruitment of high-potential IT professionals from prestigious universities.
