Clearwater International advises Klap Verzekeringsmakelaar on its sale to Nedvest
Clearwater International has advised Klap Verzekeringsmakelaar (Klap), a Dutch insurance broker active in both the professional and consumer insurance market, on its sale to the Dutch private equity firm, Nedvest.
Headquartered in Amsterdam with staff of more than 60, Klap has provided a wide range of insurance products to companies and private individuals for over 165 years.
Also headquartered in the Netherlands, Nedvest is an investment company focused on mid-sized companies. The company has 14 investment professionals and manages a portfolio of around 15 companies, with a combined revenue of over €300m.
With the participation of Nedvest, Klap aims to continue its organic growth, fostered through acquisitions.
