Clearwater International advises Investcorp Technology Partners on the acquisition of Netrom Group B.V. from Icelake Capital.
Clearwater International has advised Investcorp Technology Partners (Investcorp), a leading global technology investor, on its acquisition of a majority stake in NetRom Group B.V. (NetRom), a cloud-first digital engineering company from Icelake Capital, in this cross-border transaction.
Investcorp has established a market-leading position of investing in lower mid-market technology companies with a specific focus on software, data and analytics, cyber security, and fintech.
Located in the Netherlands and Romania, NetRom develops business-critical custom software applications. The company serves both corporates and ISVs in eight countries across Europe and the US.
Having advised NetRom’s former shareholders on the sale of their shares to IceLake Capital in 2019, Clearwater had the opportunity to help Investcorp as a new shareholder on board at NetRom.
