Clearwater International advises Intech International on its sale to PE-backed Carsoe
Clearwater International has advised the owners of Intech International (Intech), a Danish manufacturer of process equipment for the fishing and food industries, on its sale to Danish PE-owned Carsoe, a leading manufacturer and distributor of equipment and solutions for processing onboard fishing vessels and food processing.
Intech produces, develops, and sells stainless steel machines to customers internationally within the fishing and food industry. Intech has in fishing, among others, a strong product portfolio for shrimp processing. The company provides unique solutions for tray dispensing for the food industry through the two brands AnyTray and Intray.
With the acquisition of Intech, Carsoe further strengthens its position in the global market in the fishing and food industries while potentially obtaining synergies by pooling investments in sales, service, and product development. In the future, the combined seafood activities will be consolidated to Casoe, and all activities relating to tray denesting technology will be consolidated to Intech International.
