Profile

I joined Clearwater International as a Director in 2021 to lead the real estate sector in Spain. I focus on alternative finance and non-bank lenders (NBL) and advise our clients on project financing and tailor-made solutions across all segments and products such as build-to-rent residential, co-living, offices and co-working space, retail parks, logistics, hospitality, senior living and student accommodation.

With more than 12 years of experience in managing real estate debt portfolios from different banks and from Sareb for up to €500m, I am able to advise on all phases from credit risk analysis, origination, restructuring, refinancing, NPL and debt collection, to portfolio trades, valuation, and divestment. In recent years I have also advised private equity funds to find quality investment opportunities in Spain.

Prior to joining Clearwater I worked as an Associate Director in alternative finance for Stoneweg SA, a leading real estate investment platform based in Geneva with offices in Switzerland, Spain, Italy and USA, providing bridge financing and monitoring the bridge loans portfolio invested in Spain for around €300m, to achieve high added value for investors.

I graduated from the Catholic University of Ecuador validated by the Complutense University of Madrid,Spain, with a degree in Economics and I hold a specialisation Master in Tax Consultancy and Management from IESIDE Business School.
