Clearwater International advises the shareholders of Holding New Aire Group (Campings Grand Sud) on the sale of their stake to SIBLU Group

Clearwater International has advised the shareholders of Holding New Aire Group (Campings Grand Sud), the French operator of high-quality campsites, on the sale of their stake to SIBLU Group, a leader in the outdoor accommodation market in Europe.

Holding New Aire Group operates seven campsites in France comprising 3,500 pitches located on both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, including the Camping La Pointe in Capbreton, Camping Les Oyats in Seignosse, Mimizan Plage campsite in Mimizan, Mimizan Lac campsite in Mimizan, Camping Le Pipiou in Parentis-en-Born, Camping Les Embruns in Cap-Ferret, and Le Marisol campsite in Torreilles.

With over 40 years of experience and more than €200m in turnover in 2021, Siblu is a European leader in the outdoor accommodation market and the French number one seller of mobile homes to the public. The group operated 25 4-star and 5-star holiday villages at the end of 2021, 22 of which are situated in France and three in the Netherlands. With this transaction and through the support of its financial partners, SIBLU group is continuing to execute its external growth strategy, increasing the total number of pitches operated by 25%.

A number of the acquired campsites operate under the terms of a lease agreement held with the town hall, an area of expertise of the group’s founder, Marc Dauliach. Siblu is looking forward to working with the local authorities and operating the sites in accordance with their respective contractual obligations.

The operation is financed by both a capital increase, subscribed by the shareholders’ pool led by the Naxicap Partners and a drawdown of the uni-rate financing facility provided by the Arcmont fund in December 2019.
