Clearwater International advises the founders of Direct Pipe Industry on its sale to Thermador Groupe

Clearwater International has advised the founders of Direct Pipe Industry (DPI), the Monaco based distributor of plastic pipes for the public works sector, on the sale of 100% of the company's shares to Thermador Groupe, the French industrial valve manufacturing company.

Founded in 2006, DPI specialises in the supply of plastic pipe products for dry and wet networks in France. The company offering includes ducts, pipes, and drains, plus fittings for the public works, trade, and irrigation sectors. With a staff of 18, sales of nearly €60m are expected in 2022.

Thermador Groupe, based in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier and listed on the stock exchange since 1987, is the parent company of a group specialising in the distribution of materials and equipment, for the circulation of fluids in the building and industrial sectors. With a workforce of 740, its sales reach approximately €500m. DPI's activities constitute an attractive complement to Thermador Groupe’s offering, for applications such as drinking and waste water, irrigation, sprinkling, and swimming pools.

The founding directors remain committed to ensuring the successful integration of the company into Thermador Groupe, and the implementation of commercial synergies. DPI will keep its commercial independence to pursue its development in promising markets such as renewable energies, water management or telecommunications.
