Clearwater International advises LBO France and the Management team on the sale of PomAlliance to CapSeine

Clearwater International has advised LBO France and the Management team on the sale of Pom’Alliance, the French leader of potato collection and packaging, to Cap’Seine cooperative.

With about €100m of revenues, Pom’Alliance distributes its products to mass retailers (through Doréoc brand and Private Labels) and wholesalers (through 3 own brands: La Cabrette, Pom’Saveur and Les Gourmandes). The group also provides a large number of wholesalers and packagers in Europe, carrying out more than 40% of its activity abroad.

Owned by LBO France since 2008, Pom’Alliance has stabilised its activity in a cyclical market thanks to a strong valuation of its products and to the management of the whole chain of production, collection and packaging.

Cap’Seine is a leading agricultural cooperative, active in the fields of cereals, oil and protein crops, petfood, meat production, and garden centres (Gamm Vert stores). Cap’Seine employs more than 3,550 staff and generates over €700m of revenues.

Pom’Alliance will now benefit from growth opportunities thanks to the important synergies between the two companies and the strong sales power of Cap’Seine. It will also provide Cap’Seine with a strategic development platform in the fruits and vegetables markets.
