Clearwater International advises Landbell Group on acquisition of European Recycling Platform

Clearwater International acted as sole financial adviser to Landbell Group on the acquisition of European Recycling Platform (ERP) from the shareholders Electrolux France SAS, Hewlett-Packard France SAS, Procter & Gamble Manufacturing GmbH and Sony Europe Limited.

The European Recycling Platform (ERP) is a one-stop Pan-European compliance group. The group offers authorized collective compliance schemes for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment ("WEEE"), Waste Battery and Accumulators ("WBA") and/or packaging take-back and recycling, in over 32 countries.

Landbell Group is an independent Germany-based waste disposal specialist for packaging, WEEE and other materials, founded in 1995. The company’s services include fulfilment of packaging compliance and recycling obligations for their customers.

With this acquisition, Landbell Group is extending its regional outreach and expanding its range of services. The combination of one of the leading compliance systems (dual system) in Germany and ERP with its Pan-European scheme will create an even more holistic service portfolio and additional powerful solutions for their customers.
