Clearwater International acted as sole financial adviser to Cognis Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG on the development of a carve-out concept for the textile and leather chemicals business of its Process Chemicals division.
Cognis Deutschland GmbH, headquartered in Monheim am Rhein, Germany, supplies specialty chemicals and nutritional ingredients. The company offers natural source raw materials and ingredients for food, nutrition, and healthcare markets, as well as cosmetics, detergents, and cleaners industries. The business comprises three manufacturing sites in Germany and Asia.
