Clearwater International gives personal gift bags to project “Upstairs” in Wiesbaden

Small gestures can have a big impact: This year, the German team of Clearwater International, a globally active corporate finance house based in Wiesbaden, has packed personal gift bags for project “Upstairs – Help for Young People in Need”. Today, the gift bags were handed over personally, at the “Upstairs” camper in Wiesbaden. The presents will be handed out at a small Christmas celebration on 22 December by Claudia Grilletta from project “Upstairs“.

Each member of the German team of Clearwater International took responsibility for one gift bag. The 25 colourful gift bags were packed with fashion store vouchers, hygiene products, chocolate and sweets, and individual presents such as home-made Christmas cookies, jewellery and literature.

“We were very happy when Clearwater International came to us with this idea”, Karin Klinger said, who is responsible for fundraising at EVIM, the Protestant Association for the Inner Mission in Nassau. “The young people in need who are part of our project are especially grateful for personal donations in kind.”

“Regarding our Christmas donation this year, we have decided to become active and help the people in our direct neighborhood,” Dierk Rottmann, Managing Partner at Clearwater International, said. “We are convinced that, as a successful company, we are able to work together as a team to make an important contribution to help young people in need.” Clearwater International considers this to be part of a considerable charitable commitment and is looking forward to more actions to follow in 2017.

Project “Upstairs – Help for Young People in Need“, has been a mobile contact point for youths and young adults in need since 2001. Young people can come to the camping van in Wiesbaden in search of advice, overnight accommodation, a warm meal or the possibility to do laundry. Moreover, “Upstairs” helps young people to develop new perspectives and to deal with public authorities.
