Clearwater International advises Eurevia on the sale of a majority stake to BDR Thermea

Clearwater International has advised Eurevia, a leading French developer and manufacturer of ducted heating and cooling systems, on the sale of a majority stake to BDR Thermea, a leading global manufacturer of smart indoor climate solutions.

Eurevia is a leading French developer and manufacturer of ducted heating and cooling systems for residential and commercial new builds, as well as cruise ships. Its connected solutions provide heating, cooling, and air filtration, via ducted systems that allow users to control the temperature and indoor air quality in each area or zone.

Eurevia’s product portfolio includes air-handling units, diffusers, and smart controls that, when integrated with a heat pump, allow for maximum efficiency, while ensuring a comfortable and silent airflow. Air-handling units are among the most energy-efficient ways to provide heating, cooling, and air filtration on a room-to-room basis (zoning).

Headquartered in La Ciotat, Eurevia has 40 employees and sells its solutions in France, Belgium, and Switzerland. The company will continue to operate under its own name, as a subsidiary of BDR Thermea France.

BDR Thermea Group develops and supplies innovative products and services that enable the global shift towards sustainable energy carriers. Based in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, and with a staff of more than 6,000 employees, the company serves customers in more than 100 countries worldwide.

With this acquisition, BDR Thermea Group will expand its portfolio of energy-transition solutions for new builds.
