Guillaume Fenni

I joined Clearwater in 2016 after working for Oddo Corporate Finance and for Crédit Agricole CIB in China. I have been involved in transactions across several sectors including: healthcare, with the disposal of C2S Group to the PE fund Eurazeo Patrimoine; real estate, with the acquisition of a portfolio of real-estate assets from ANF Immobilier; and business services, with the disposal of Crèches de France to Sodexo Group. I find the opportunity at Clearwater to help clients on various complex transactions, and working with a structured team of professionals, particularly rewarding and stimulating. I graduated from ESSEC Business School with the Advanced Master’s degree in Financial Techniques and a major in corporate finance.

Anton Berzelius

I joined Clearwater International as an Analyst at the Stockholm office in the Spring of 2021. Before joining Clearwater, I worked for the Transaction Services team at Alvarez & Marsal for almost two years, where I advised on M&A deals for PE and strategic buyers/sellers in various industries. My sector strengths include power & utilities, SaaS, consulting services and retail. Parallel to my studies I also worked as CFO for two business groups, operating within facility management and the MedTech space. I hold a BSc in Business & Economics and an MSc in Accounting, Valuation and Financial Management from the Stockholm School of Economics. I also hold an MSc of Law from Stockholm University, with a specialisation in International Tax Law and Financial Market Law.

Alasdair Bird

I joined Clearwater’s Sponsor Coverage team in 2021 to help build and manage our long-term commercial relationships with the global private equity community. I cover all our core sectors nationally and have developed a thorough understanding of the M&A market landscape to generate a unique flow of proprietary ideas for our PE clients. Understanding their investment criteria, current thematic focus and portfolio company needs is critical to ensuring they see the right ideas for future deals. Prior to joining Clearwater, I was a Client Associate in the expert network Third Bridge’s European Research Team and I am also a MA History Graduate from the University of St Andrews. I enjoy playing sports outside of work such as hockey and golf.

I’m an experienced M&A Director based out of the Leeds office. I joined Clearwater in 2020, as a founding member of the Leeds team and have played an important role in growing the team as well as establishing Clearwater Leeds as a leading adviser in the region. I have 19 years of M&A experience, advising clients on all types of transactions including, minority and majority PE investments and sales to strategic trade as well as working on the buy-side for both private equity and trade acquirers. I am a calm and level-headed adviser and take great pride in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. Outside of work, I am a father to two teenage girls, a keen golfer, general sports fan, and enjoy going skiing once a year with my family.
