Clearwater International advises Dancutter and Repipe Lining System on its sale to Halma owned Mini-Cam

Clearwater International has advised Dancutter, a Danish designer and manufacturer of robotic cutting solutions for use in pipeline rehabilitation and maintenance, as well as Repipe Lining Systems, an associated company specialising in spray lining solutions for the renovation of wastewater pipes and downpipes, on its sale to Halma subsidiary Mini-Cam.

Dancutter develops, produces, and sells robotic cutters for cutting, grinding, and milling in all materials including PVC, liner, cement, concrete, cast iron or steel. In recent years, the company has experienced high growth and expanded its network of distributors internationally, while continuously developing its technology and products. Repipe Lining Systems was founded in 2011 as an associated company to Dancutter and produces lining systems for the renovation of wastewater and downpipes.

Halma plc, listed on stock London Stock Exchange, was incorporated in 1894 and is headquartered in the UK. The company provides technology solutions in the safety, health, and environmental markets. Halma acquired Mini-Cam in 2017, which is a specialised manufacturer of pipeline inspection systems.

Dancutter will gain access to Mini-Cam’s resources and infrastructure, including technology platforms, design expertise and a vertically integrated supply chain, while the acquisition will help Mini-Cam deliver on its ambition of offering a wider range of products and services to the wastewater network services sector, providing greater synergies to the shared customer base.
