Clearwater International announces new Partner appointment in Ireland
Clearwater International is further strengthening its presence in Ireland with the appointment of Sam Nolan as a Partner in the Dublin office.

Sam joins the business at an exciting time, with the team growing quickly to support the firm’s significant traction in the market. The decision to expand to a third partner reinforces Clearwater’s growth ambitions and the significant opportunity in the Irish M&A advisory market.
Sam is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and arrives with over 14 years’ experience in corporate finance, both as an adviser and on the buy-side. While his recent industry focus has primarily been in technology, tech-enabled services, business services and renewables, he has also worked in aerospace, defence, healthcare, financial services and utilities.
Many of his previous deals have involved private equity or a form of a financial sponsor. Notable transactions include the recent fundraising for Invert Robotics, the sales of Sim Local to Cardinal Capital Group, ActionPoint Technologies to Viatel (Chirisa Investments), Swiftqueue Technologies Ltd to Dedalus Group (ADIA), Balcas Energy & Renewables to Glennon Brothers, Anam Technologies to Infobip Group (One Equity Partners), and Welltel to Livingbridge.
Sam joins from Deloitte’s M&A advisory team in Dublin. Prior to this, he spent over five years working in valuations, portfolio management and on deal teams for Mubadala, one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in Abu Dhabi. Sam is also active in Ireland’s technology eco-system, supporting growth stage accelerators and previously helping to lead Deloitte Ireland’s Technology Fast50 programme for a number of years.
